A 3-Day Itinerary for Adventure, Connection, and Reset
Los Cabos wasn’t a work trip.
It wasn’t planned months in advance.
It wasn’t structured.
It was just me—choosing to go.
This was a true solo vacation. No laptop, no deadlines, no distractions. Just space to experience something different, meet new people, and be present in a way I hadn’t allowed myself to be before.
And honestly, it became one of the most meaningful trips I’ve taken.
Not because of where I went—but because of what I experienced while I was there.

Quick 3-Day Los Cabos Itinerary Recap
Friday:
Arrival, resort relaxation, disconnect
Saturday:
Skybike, horseback riding, tequila tasting, and meeting new people
Sunday:
Kayaking to the arch, snorkeling, rest, and reflection
Day 1 (Friday): Arrival, Settling In, and Letting Go
Arriving in Los Cabos feels like stepping into a completely different energy. The desert meets the ocean in a way that’s both calm and powerful at the same time.
I stayed at an all-inclusive resort, which made everything easier from the moment I arrived. No planning meals. No worrying about logistics. Just checking in and allowing myself to relax.
That first day was about slowing down.
- Walking along the beach
- Sitting by the pool
- Taking in the view
- Letting my mind catch up with my body
And one of the biggest things I did?
I stayed off my phone.
With limited cell service and no focus on social media, I was able to be fully present—and it changed everything.

Day 2 (Saturday): Adventure, Connection, and New Experiences
Saturday was all about stepping outside of my comfort zone.
SkyBike Near the Beach
One of the most unique experiences was riding a skybike overlooking the ocean. Suspended above the ground with nothing but views in front of you—it’s one of those moments where you feel both nervous and free at the same time.
Horseback Riding Through the Desert and Along the Beach
This experience was unforgettable.
Riding through the desert landscape and then transitioning onto the beach, with the sound of the waves in the background—it felt grounding and peaceful at the same time.
Tequila Tasting
Later in the day, I experienced a tequila tasting—learning about the process, the flavors, and the culture behind it.
It wasn’t just about the drink—it was about the experience and the conversations that came with it.
Day 3 (Sunday): Adventure mixed with Reflection and Reset
Kayaking to the Arch (and Meeting Strangers Who Became Friends)
One of the highlights of the trip was kayaking to the famous arch at El Arco de Cabo San Lucas.
I went out with a group of strangers, and somewhere between paddling through the water and laughing along the way, those strangers became friends.
That’s the thing about solo travel—you’re never really alone unless you choose to be.
Snorkeling Along the Way
While out on the water, we stopped to snorkel, taking in the marine life and the clarity of the ocean.
Moments like that remind you to slow down and just experience what’s in front of you.
After a full day of adventure, I gave myself permission to just be.
- Sitting by the water
- Reflecting on the trip
- Taking everything in
No rush. No pressure.
Just presence.
What This Trip Taught Me
Los Cabos reminded me of something important:
You don’t always need a plan.
Sometimes, you just need to go.
This trip was different from my others because I disconnected. No constant posting. No checking in. No outside noise.
And because of that, it became one of the most enjoyable trips I’ve had.
It gave me:
clarity
connection
confirmation
Confirmation that I’m aligned.
That I’m walking with purpose.
That I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.
Final Thoughts
Solo travel will introduce you to people, places, and experiences—but more importantly, it will introduce you to yourself.
Los Cabos wasn’t just a weekend trip.
It was a reminder.
That is when you follow your heart, trust God, and allow yourself to move freely—everything you need will meet you along the way.
